When Singer Kelis came out with her new single *BOSSY*, she also came out with a new haircut , haircut that had everybody going crazy because it was fresh, edgy and wearable. Since then , specially in 2009, a lot of celebrities came back with the style amd it was one of style that got noticed in last year… so for the next few hair posts , i will give an ode to 2009 half shaved hairstyle … worn by different individuals…here is KELIS :
2009 was the year of the half shaved heads…. it seems like everybody dit it.. including me. I actually loved it to the point where i would want to do it again this year… thinking about it !!! it just wont go with the kind of work that i do ( governmental). Cassie really shocked everybody when she did it … some people didnt like, some did. I got to say that i just looooooved it. It brought a new rockstar level to Cassie which said that the new hairdo represents more of her personnal fashion choices and what she wants to bring to fashion. To me she is such a beautiful artist and i wish that 2010 will bring us the new artist in her and that she will as well storm the fashionworld.

I take it that for everyone…man and woman…style and fashion has to go through the hairstyle also but for some reason i think we tend to seperate the two like its part of the same ensemble…the outfit.
I find that there is nothing more beautifil that someone that is well put together and that has the right hairstyle to match.
So to start off my Edgy Hairstyle category, i decided to start it off with none other then : Kate Lanphear . As you probably already all know , Mrs Lanphear is style director for Elle magazine US ( although i think she was promoted) and she is one of the most looked after fashionista in the industry for her effortless style. Her hairstyle gets an honorable mention because i have seen so much copies of it out there that i think she should be mention as a leader in her field. This platinum blonde bob lady should watch her every step ….. all eyes on her .
